Dr. Michelle Norris earned a Bachelor of Science in Health & Human Performance – Addictions Counseling from WV State University in 2009. She earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from Howard University in 2013, and graduated from Crystal Rain Institute in 2022 with a Doctoral degree in Christian Counseling. Dr. Smith holds the following licenses and certifications: 

  • Licensed Professional Counselor, State of West Virginia
  • Licensed Professional Supervisor, State of West Virginia

Dr. Norris has several years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in a variety of settings that include:

Dr. Norris works with individuals from across the lifespan. She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, and families. Dr. Norris is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. She employs a faith-based approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Trauma Focused Therapy.
