Kim Hixon, L.P.C.
Kim graduated from Geneva College in 2002 earning a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management. She also graduated from Waynesburg University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with a Master in Addiction Counseling. Kim holds the following licenses and certifications: National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor (State of Pennsylvania) and American Association of Christian Counselors.
Kim has over 15 years of experience working with adolescents including teaching, coaching and counseling. She has facilitated groups, individual and family counseling and case management for a teen residential inpatient treatment center. She also has an extensive background working with behavior and conduct within school settings.
Kim works with individuals from across the life span. She is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically, she employs a Faith-Based approach using Acceptance and Commitment and Psychoanalytic Therapies. Kim specializes in the following areas:
