Alison Ellie, L.S.W.
Alison earned her Master of Social Work from Youngstown State University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Moody Bible Institute, where she received strong training in integrating biblical principles with clinical counseling skills. Her graduate education included focused training in trauma informed care and cognitive behavioral approaches.
Alison has experience providing individual, couples, and family counseling in outpatient mental health settings. She has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults addressing emotional, behavioral, relational, and spiritual concerns. Her background also includes school based mental health work, suicide education and prevention initiatives, and advocacy for students and families navigating academic and behavioral challenges.
Alison works with preteens, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She is trained to address a wide range of clinical concerns and commonly works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, dissociation, autism related challenges, family conflict, and life stressors. She also has experience supporting children and families within educational systems and during times of crisis.
