Dayzia Colflesh, L.S.W.
Dayzia earned her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2023. She also completed coursework in Biblical Studies at Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio, studying subjects such as New Testament, Old Testament, Church History, and Human Suffering and Evil. She is a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio.
Dayzia has experience providing counseling and support in medical, hospice, and outpatient counseling settings. She currently serves as a therapist with Christian Counseling Associates and has also worked as an emergency room social worker at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital where she conducts psychosocial evaluations, provides crisis support, and connects patients with appropriate behavioral health and community resources.
Her background also includes hospice social work where she supported patients and families coping with serious illness, grief, and life transitions. Through these experiences she has developed a compassionate approach to care that values listening, empathy, and practical support during difficult seasons of life.
Dayzia works with adolescents and adults and is trained to address a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. She utilizes evidence-based counseling approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy while maintaining a faith-centered perspective in her work.
