Jennifer Schwanke, B.S.
Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and later completed a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Capella University and serves as a Resident Counselor under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor at Christian Counseling Associates.
Jennifer has experience supporting individuals with a wide range of behavioral health and neurodevelopmental needs in community and residential settings. She has served as a Service Coordinator working with individuals experiencing mental health disorders, assisting clients with treatment goals, skill development, community inclusion, and crisis prevention strategies.
Her background also includes several years as a Program Specialist and Behavioral Specialist supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role she collaborated with interdisciplinary teams, families, and support staff to address behavioral concerns and develop supportive care plans.
Jennifer works primarily with adults and has experience assisting individuals with a variety of emotional and behavioral concerns. Her clinical approach emphasizes person-centered and trauma-informed care that focuses on helping clients build coping skills, develop healthier patterns of thinking, and strengthen personal growth.
