Celita Sexton-Eden, L.P.C.A.

Celita earned a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education from Berea College. She later completed a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University. Celita also holds a Ph.D. in Counseling from Louisiana Baptist University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Kentucky and practices under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor.

Celita has extensive experience working in both educational and counseling settings. She currently serves as a Mental Health Counselor providing assessments, treatment planning, and individual counseling while collaborating with other professionals to support client care.

Celita works with adolescents, adults, and older adults and addresses a variety of emotional and behavioral concerns. She utilizes counseling approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy while incorporating a holistic perspective that considers both emotional and physical well-being.
