Britney Whiteman, L.S.W.
Britney earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2023. She is a Staff Counselor at Christian Counseling Associates and serves under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor.
Britney has experience serving individuals and families in medical, community, and social service settings. She previously worked as a Social Worker in an inpatient psychiatric hospital where she assisted with client assessments, coordinated treatment planning, facilitated group sessions, and supported discharge planning with patients and their families.
She has also served as a Service and Support Administrator working with individuals with developmental disabilities. In that role she provided case management, coordinated services, assisted clients with housing needs, and ensured ongoing support for each individual’s care plan. Through these experiences Britney has worked with individuals facing mental health concerns, substance use challenges, and complex life circumstances.
Britney works with adolescents and adults and is trained to address a wide range of clinical concerns. She approaches counseling from a faith-based perspective while incorporating evidence-based practices. Britney has experience supporting clients in areas such as:
