David Strussenberg, B.A.
David earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater with a minor in Communications from Concordia University Irvine and a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He is completing his Master of Arts in Counseling through Concordia University Irvine’s Townsend Institute. David is also a Certified Grief Educator through David Kessler’s Grief Certification program. At Christian Counseling Associates, he serves as a Resident Counselor under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Supervisor.
David has nearly two decades of experience serving in pastoral ministry, community service, and multicultural environments. He has worked with individuals and families in churches, hospitals, nursing homes, and mission contexts, including 10 years living and working in Guatemala. His experience includes counseling those facing grief and loss, anxiety, depression, spiritual concerns, relational struggles, and major life transitions. He has also supported individuals seeking growth in character development and personal integration.

Personal/Church Involvement:
David is an active member in his church community. He and his wife have been married for nine years and are raising twin boys. He enjoys time with family, travel, sports, and fitness.
