John Osei Yaw, M.A.
John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a Bachelor of Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Urbaniana University in Rome, and a Diploma in Philosophical Studies from Spiritan University College in Ghana. He later earned a Professional Diploma in Family Ministry from Loyola University in Manila, Philippines, and is completing a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. He also holds training in Counseling Skills from the Institute of St. Anselm
John has more than two decades of experience serving individuals, couples, families, and communities as a Roman Catholic priest. His ministry has included parish leadership, pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, and youth and family ministry across Ghana, the Philippines, and the United States. He has extensive experience journeying with people through grief, family conflict, and spiritual struggles, while supporting their growth and resilience in faith. At Christian Counseling Associates, he serves as an intern counselor under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Supervisor.

Personal/Church Involvement:
Ordained as a Roman Catholic priest in 1999, John currently serves as a Campus Minister at Duquesne University, providing spiritual support and guidance for students, faculty, and staff. His calling is to safeguard the sanctity of human life, marriage, and family through both pastoral ministry and clinical counseling.
