Nancy believes that every person deserves a safe place to be heard, understood, and encouraged. Her path to counseling began after a successful career in human resources, where she witnessed how personal struggles often affected every area of a person's life. That experience inspired her to become a counselor so she could walk alongside individuals and families facing difficult seasons with compassion, practical guidance, and hope. Nancy earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Education from the University of Arkansas before completing her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Nyack College. She is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the State of Arkansas and has additional training in domestic violence counseling and tobacco treatment.
Nancy has experience providing professional counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a variety of settings, which include:

Nancy works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and older adults. She has experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other emotional and behavioral challenges. Drawing from her background in mental health counseling, domestic violence services, correctional settings, and employee relations, Nancy provides compassionate, practical care that is tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Clinically, she employs a faith-based approach that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and trauma-informed care. Nancy is available for in-person counseling at our Forrest City, Arkansas office. She also provides telehealth counseling to clients throughout the state of Arkansas.
