Join the Team at Christian Counseling Associates
Apply NowContact UsChristian Counseling Associates is a growing faith-based counseling organization with more than 90 locations across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, New York, Arkansas, and Kentucky. We provide individual, couples, and family counseling to children, adolescents, and adults, and we are looking for licensed and license-eligible clinicians who want to do this work well, and do it within a community that shares their faith.
CCA employs its clinicians, which means you are supported, scheduled, and compensated as a full member of a clinical team, not left to build a caseload on your own. If you are looking for a place where skilled counseling and Christian faith are treated as inseparable, we would be honored to have you apply.
What It Means to Be a CCA Employee
Many counseling positions are structured as independent contractor arrangements, where clinicians are paid only for completed sessions with clients who pay. CCA takes a different approach. As an employee, you receive guaranteed compensation for completed sessions regardless of whether the client pays, and you are also compensated for the indirect work that is essential to good clinical care, like documentation, supervision, training, and team meetings.
Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Health & vision insurance (Highmark / BCBS)
- Dental insurance (United Concordia)
- Employer-funded retirement pension
- Paid time off for vacation and holidays
- Professional liability insurance
Growing as a Clinician at CCA
Research has consistently shown that counselors do not automatically improve with experience alone. Without structured feedback, supervision, and ongoing skill development, clinical effectiveness can plateau or decline over time. CCA takes this seriously.
Every CCA clinician participates in weekly individual and group supervision, and has access to continuing education through CCA's approved provider status with the ASWB and NCE. This means your required CE hours are covered at no cost to you. CCA also offers all-day education seminars throughout the year, online training modules, and structured mentorship and onboarding for new team members.
For master's-level clinicians working toward licensure, CCA provides a formal Clinical Supervision Program that meets Pennsylvania licensure requirements. Supervision is available in both individual and group formats, and is designed to integrate Christian faith with clinical counseling approaches. Candidates are mentored in developing effective approaches to individual, marital, and family counseling, with attention to setting professional goals and building specialty areas of practice. This program is available exclusively to CCA employees.
Clinicians at CCA are not working in isolation. They are part of a team that consults, trains, and sharpens one another. That kind of community is not incidental to the work. It is part of what makes the work sustainable.
