Austin is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (L.A.P.C.) who is passionate about helping individuals develop resilience, overcome obstacles, and reach their personal goals. Drawing from his background in counseling, military service, and athletics, he works collaboratively with clients to build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and navigate life's challenges with purpose. Austin has a particular interest in supporting veterans, athletes, adolescents, and young adults while creating a welcoming environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to grow.
Austin earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Sport Psychology from Robert Morris University before completing a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology at Robert Morris University in 2026. His graduate education emphasized evidence-based counseling, trauma-informed care, assessment, and multicultural practice. Austin also served in the United States Air Force and worked alongside the National Security Agency, experiences that continue to shape his understanding of resilience, leadership, and service.
Austin has experience providing counseling services to adolescents and adults in outpatient mental health settings. During his clinical training, he provided individual counseling, completed biopsychosocial assessments, participated in treatment planning, and assisted with crisis intervention while working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship concerns. He has experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, person-centered counseling, and trauma-informed care to support clients from a variety of backgrounds.
