Callista is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (L.A.P.C.) who is passionate about helping adolescents and adults find hope, healing, and lasting change. She strives to create a welcoming environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to work through life's challenges. By combining evidence-based counseling with a compassionate, faith-informed perspective, Callista partners with clients to build practical coping skills, strengthen relationships, and pursue meaningful personal growth.
Callista earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cedarville University and a Master of Science in Counseling from Cairn University with a specialization in Adolescent and Women's Counseling. She has additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, trauma-informed care, and addiction treatment, including experience working with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Callista has experience providing counseling services in outpatient mental health and substance use treatment settings. During her clinical training, she provided individual and group counseling, developed treatment plans, completed clinical documentation, and implemented evidence-based interventions for adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and life transitions. She has experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and person-centered counseling while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary treatment teams.
