Kristin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art Therapy Preparation from Carlow University before completing a Master of Arts in Art Therapy with a specialization in Counseling at Seton Hill University in 2026. She is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (L.A.P.C.) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a master's-level Art Therapist. Kristin has additional training in play therapy, trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, healthy relationships for children and adolescents, and working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
Kristin has experience providing counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults in both educational and outpatient mental health settings. During her clinical training at The Watson Institute, she provided art therapy and counseling services for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, behavioral concerns, and emotional challenges. She also has experience developing treatment plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, and utilizing expressive therapies to support emotional growth and improve daily functioning.
Prior to joining Christian Counseling Associates, Kristin worked as a Direct Support Specialist and Art Facilitator, helping individuals with intellectual disabilities develop life skills, improve social functioning, and express themselves through creative interventions. Her background combines traditional counseling techniques with expressive therapies to meet clients where they are and support meaningful, lasting change.
Kristin works with children, adolescents, and adults and is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. She utilizes a faith-based counseling approach while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, Play Therapy, trauma-informed care, and traditional talk therapy.
