LaTina understands that trauma, unexpected life circumstances, and emotional challenges can leave individuals feeling overwhelmed or unsure of how to move forward. She brings extensive experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, trauma recovery, and substance use treatment to her work with clients. Her background includes providing counseling and crisis services in outpatient, school-based, psychiatric, addiction recovery, and community settings, as well as many years of service as an emergency services professional.
LaTina works with children, adolescents, and adults and has experience addressing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief, substance abuse, behavioral concerns, relationship issues, self-esteem, anger, and other mental health concerns. With a strong background in crisis response and trauma recovery, LaTina seeks to provide a compassionate and respectful counseling environment where clients can address difficult experiences, strengthen coping skills, and work toward greater stability and healthier functioning. Her Christian faith is an important part of her life, and she welcomes the opportunity to incorporate faith and biblical principles into counseling for clients who desire a faith-based approach.

Clinically, she employs a faith-based approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, and other therapeutic approaches. She is trained in trauma-informed care and has experience working with clients in the following areas:
