Lawrence earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling from Midwestern State University. He is a licensed mental health counselor under supervision in the state of NY.
Lawrence works with adolescents and adults and is trained to address a wide range of mental health concerns. His areas of experience include mood disorders, substance use disorders, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, personality disorders, and family relationship concerns. His counseling approach is rooted in Christian faith while drawing from family systems, vocational development, and other evidence-based clinical practices to meet each client's individual needs.
Lawrence believes every person is created in the image of God with inherent dignity and value. Lawrence has experience providing outpatient psychotherapy to adolescents and adults in community mental health and private practice settings. His clinical experience includes conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing psychotherapy, and collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams to support client growth and recovery.
